On December 16th, 2025 the Second Nanhai Innovation Brand Sustainable Development Conference and Nanhai Old Brands & High-Quality Products Appreciation Event was successfully held, and the first list of "Nanhai Old Brands (Manufacturing)" enterprises was officially released. Guangya Aluminum, a subsidiary of Knowledge City Group, was awarded the title of "20-Year Nanhai Old Brand." This honor is a recognition from the market and society of the company's commitment to manufacturing and steady development, further highlighting its brand heritage and industry influence.
Founded in Foshan in 1996, Guangya Aluminum completed a strategic transformation in 2021 under the control of Knowledge City Group, ushering in a new model of state-owned and private mixed-ownership development in the aluminum industry. Since the transformation, Knowledge City Group has prioritized strengthening corporate governance as a core enabler, comprehensively reforming and establishing new systems covering decision-making, operations, and risk control; optimizing decision-making mechanisms such as the "three major decisions and one major issue" system; and implementing the "Production Base Plant Manager Responsibility Management System" to improve governance efficiency.
This year, Guangya Aluminum has been listed among Guangdong's Top 500 Enterprises, Foshan's Top 100 Manufacturing Enterprises, and Foshan's Top 100 Enterprises. It also participated in the manufacturing of the torch for the 15th National Games and led the revision of national non-ferrous metal industry standards. In the future, Guangya Aluminum will continue to uphold craftsmanship, focus on its core business, actively explore cutting-edge sectors, and continuously enhance its brand on the path of high-quality development, contributing to the development of the manufacturing industry.
